Join Study Bergen on Saturday 22nd of September for Bergen Student Fjord Cruise. This is a great opportunity to experience the magnificent and varied scenery around Osterøy, Northern Europe’s largest inland island. During the trip you will be able to view dramatic fjord landscapes with waterfalls and mountains, rolling hills and unique attractions. We will also stop at the little village of Modalen, where there is a waterfall and a little sandy beach. Brave a dip in the fjord if you dare!


09:15 - Registration starts on Dreggekaien (MAP)
10:00 - Departure from Bergen. The boat will not wait if you are late
11:30 - Arrival in Modalen*
13:30 - Departure from Modalen*
15:00 - Arrival in Bergen*

*Times  are approximate. The Captain will inform passengers of the exact time of departure from Modalen on the trip. If you are not back on the boat when it departs Modalen, you will have to make your way back to Bergen at your own expense.

175,- for students attending UiB, HVL, NHH, NLA and VID
250,- for students attending other institutions and Phd candidates. 
350,- for friends/family members of students participating on the trip.

Snacks and beverages may be purchased in the boat’s kiosk. You may also bring food with you. Please note that it is prohibited to bring your own alcohol, since the boat has an alcohol license. If you wish to consume alcoholic beverages, these must be purchased in the boat’s kiosk.

Unfortunately, if for some reason you are unable to attend after you have paid, we will not be able to refund your ticket. You can transfer your ticket to another person until the 4th of. September. The service costs 45,-. If the name change involves a change to a higher price category, the difference in ticket category must also be paid. No refund will be given if the name change is to a lower price category.
