DJ Prinsen Paulista, man behind the villagefest Balkan Beat Party, is considered father of the Balkanwave in Scandinavia, and has kept it going since 2006 at Parkteatret/John Dee in Oslo. Now, seven years after the Balkan Beat Party has become synonymous with Balkanmusic in the Nordic countries and is found in all Scandinavian capitals and is perhaps the most original and unpretentious musical concept that excists out there...

Dj Prinsen Paulista is thus one of the few dj`s who play authentic Balkan and Gypsy music. He was also the first DJ ever who got to play on the world's largest trumpet festival - Guca - in Serbia, invited by legendary Boban and Marko Markovic. This club concept that has the originality that's second to none in Scandinavia, if you not actually be on the Balkan peninsula.
