Bergen weelcomes you to the annual Christmas marked on Festplassen

When the lights are switched on at the Bergen Christmas Market, the spirit of Christmas comes alive in the city. More than 90 stalls, bars, and attractions fill Festplassen with the scent of mulled wine, the sound of Christmas carols, and a genuine festive atmosphere for all ages.


Opening hours: 21 November–22 December 2025.

  • Weekdays 12:00–21:00
  • Saturday & Sunday 10:00–21:00.

 

What to do 

  • Enjoy the many small stalls that sells different things. Maybe you can find something to bring home from your stay in Bergen. 
  • Try the Ferris wheel, or any of the other attractions (cost money)
  • Enjoy a hot chocolate or Gløgg (mulled wine)
