Breakfast Seminar - "Corona Among The Poor"
We are teaming up with Bergen Global CMI, to host a breakfast seminar on October 21. Magnus Hatlebakk will present as keynote speaker, who will discuss how the corona pandemic has affected the poor. The seminar will be in English.
Magnus Hatlebakk (CMI) is a researching economist focusing on poverty, social exclusion and rural development.
He has researched living conditions among the rural poor primarily in South-Asia, but also in Sub Saharan Africa, for decades and will discuss available evidence one the effects of the pandemic and their access to food. Focus will be on the extreme poor in rural and urban areas, and the availability of information on their living conditions during the pandemic.
This event is free, and open to all. It will be streamed on zoom for those who wish to watch from their home. Please note that one must keep one meter from each other at the seminar, and maintain a good hand hygiene. We will register your name, number and email for up to 10 days after the event.
