Hallaien! Are you a new student in Bergen? Kickstart your student life with a concert at Bergenhus Fortress on the 14th of August 2026!

We promise an exciting lineup and an electric atmosphere with the artists Ari Bajgora and Kakkmaddafakka and an audience of 10.000 students – you won’t want to miss this!

The concert is exclusively for students, and is part of the official Welcome Week programme. You’ll get an unforgettable introduction to Bergen’s vibrant music scene, and a chance to mingle with students from all the universities and colleges in Bergen. 

Kick off your evening at The Student Hub on the concert grounds! Bring your mentor group or your friends and dive into free activities you've never tried before. Check out quidditch, improv theatre, rugby, open mic, archaeological excavation, test your skills as a TV reporter, and get the chance to win prizes. Expect fun activities, plenty of laughs, and a great atmosphere. The activities in The Student Hub are organized by student organizations — giving you a taste of what you can get involved in as part of the student community in Bergen.
