The Student Theatre Immaturus presents the Micro Festival 2026

Welcome to the theatre festival!

The Mikro Festival is a theatre festival showcasing loads of small-scale theatre performances across the city of Bergen.
From April 27 to May 2, we will be filling the stages at Kvarteret, Cornerteateret, and Lille DNS with fun events and performances that spark laughter, tears, frustration, and even a sense of catharsis.

Immaturus has organized the Micro Festival for five consecutive years, and it is a strong tradition for us to offer a week where we invite you into the theatre to experience something out of the ordinary.

This year’s theme is DOORS!
You can open a door and step into a new room.
You can see a door and wonder what lies behind it.
A door can be what separates you from a great secret.
The threshold can feel impossibly long.
Someone walks out the door and all of the sudden, you’re all alone.

Four productions and five groups have interpreted this theme in their own ways, and we’re excited to present a diverse program full of theatre, life, and energy!
The performances: “Until We Become Stardust,” “Uterus,” “Scenarios,” and “Milwaukee” will each be performed three times. In addition, we’re hosting two improv shows, the release of the anthology “Some Things Last, Everything Passes,” a musical medley, and a shadow theatre piece created by our voice acting group.

Other events like a quiz night, a flea market, and a drag workshop will also take place throughout the week.

Step out the door and join us for a week you won’t soon forget!

The festival starts with an opening show in Tivoli at Kvarteret 17:00!
