The Reuse festival
Join the festival that is good for both the environment and the student budget
On August 9 we invite you to a Reuse Festival with food, a great atmosphere, and the chance to get to know several environmentally engaged organisations in Bergen. Choosing second-hand instead of new makes your student life more sustainable. In addition, it will be completely free to pick up used items at our Reuse Festival at Møllendalsveien 40.
Items and clothes
This summer we will collect great second-hand items from students who no longer need them. On Sunday 9 August we will give away these pre-loved finds for free. Furniture, kitchenware, books, sports equipment and clothes are examples of used treasures that are looking forward to a new life in your student housing. In addition to second-hand items donated by students, we are fortunate to have BIR on board. They are contributing a wide selection of student-friendly reused goods to the festival. Bergen Clothing Swap is creating a clothing market with all the clothes we collect during the summer.
Stands, food and drinks
Several environmentally engaged organisations will be present at the festival, and you will be able to buy affordable food and drinks. The festival is for all students in Bergen – both new and returning. To make sure there is enough for everyone, there will be some quantity limits. More information about this will be available on site.
