From the moment you enter, the rules of the theater begin to blur. The performers welcome you with a glass of bubbles, gently dissolving the distance between audience and actor. At the centre of it all, a theatre curtain appears to have fallen from the sky. Far too many spotlights shine on the draping red velour, turning the curtain into a makeshift stage. You’re invited to gather around it as you would around a dinner table. And before you know it, a chicken has pointed out the people of power in the room, and a ballerina crawls on stage to shed her layers.
