The Tunnel Run 5K is a road race that starts and finishes at the entrance to the tunnel on the Fyllingsdalen side. From the start to the turnaround point, you’ll be running on asphalt, so leave your spikes at home for this one. On the way back, you’ll run on the royal blue rubber surface.

The descent from the start to the turnaround point—the lowest point of the course—is about 17 meters. Naturally, there’s no risk of wind or rain inside the tunnel, and the temperature stays consistently around 11–12°C year-round. In other words, the conditions are ideal for running fast and setting personal records. The race is WA (World Athletics) certified, level F.
