For over 15 years Torbjørn Rødland has been developing a singular and increasingly influential body of work – focused around the photographic image – that speaks directly to the ubiquity, saturation and circulation of images in our contemporary moment, as well as deeper and more unsettling drives. His photographs combine mythology, popular culture and reality.

At the language café we speak Norwegian over a cup of tea or coffee. We have a new topic for discussion every time. The topics we discuss are for example about food, travel, climate or Bergen. This offer is free and for adults. No registration is needed, just meet up! The language café is part of the Room for meetings project which is funded by Gjensidigstiftelse and in cooperation with the "Det felles innvandrerråd" i Hordaland" and "Hordaland fylkesbibliotek".
