Bergen Independent Social Advice Office

Bergen Independent Social Advice Office (BUS) is run by social work students. It is a voluntary service for people of all ages and it is free of charge.

BUS (Norwegian: Bergen Uavhengige Sosialrådgivning) is a place you may go to if you need someone to talk to. We have time to listen to you and together we will try to find a solution. If you believe you have the right for help from a public office, but you are uncertain where to make enquiries and where you may get the information you need. BUS will try to help you to find your rights and where to get help.

Who can join?

Only social work students at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL), but BUS's services are open for all.
