Communica – Student society at Communication, HVL

Communica is the student society for communication students at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. 

Communica's main task is to create a quality environment and network between past, present and future communication students. 

Communica wants to create a close collaboration with business and help WNUA with information about studies, as well as work with the social environment. The association organises parties, company visits, company seminars and social events for the members. 

Communica believes that the foundation of a good study environment starts with a great social environment, and therefore arranges several social gatherings for students of all study levels! Each year at least one party is organised for members of Communica. At these parties there are special communication quizzes, food and drinks, and prizes! 

Communica wants to have a close collaboration with the business world, so that students can start building relationships with future employers early in their studies and can see what work tasks they can expect after finishing their studies. Communica therefore tries as often as possible to arrange company visits and company seminars, or guest lectures from various companies. 

Communica currently has a close collaboration with Intelecom, ABB and Eltel Networks, and is continuously working to achieve closer collaboration with other companies.
