Concerned Students Bergen

Concerned Students is an interdisciplinary network for students who share an academic interest and curiousity for the societal challenges that the climate challenge brings with it. Concerned Students is thus the student network for those who are looking to combine professional knowledge and environmental commitment. 

Concerned Students does the following: 

• Organises interdisciplinary seminars to shed light on different perspectives related to the climate challenge, both internally and at the surrounding faculties. 
• Enters trainee agreements with industries and works towards putting in place a "subject bank" on issues related to climate/environment that the work force needs. 
• Arranges internal workshops with an aim to meet and develop something together (e.g. a presentation/video) on a topic that is relevant to working life/society. 
• Have a number of meetings where we talk about how our subjects can be used in relation to the climate challenge.
