Critical Mass Bergen

Critical Mass Bergen is a leaderless group of friendly cyclists who meet for a ride once a month. We aim to highlight how many people would like to use bicycles but are usually unable to do so without risking their own safety.

What is Critical Mass?

Critical Mass is a global cycling celebration and protest that raises awareness about cyclists’ right to cycle safely and challenges the dominance of cars.

Who can join?

Everyone using non-motorised vehicles is welcome! Skateboards, rollerblades, cargo bikes, unicycles, e-bikes etc. We also have a discount code for city bikes: 19 NOK for three hours. Send us a message to get it ;-)

How does it work?

We ride together at a calm pace. We don’t let ourselves be intimidated by drivers or split up by intersections. Music turns the ride into a celebration!

When and where does it happen?

We ride on the last Friday of every month. The meeting point is at Den blå steinen at 18:00. For more details about the next ride, check our website!
