Feministiske medisinere

Feministiske medisinere is a voluntary organisation founded in 2021 by students at the medical degree programme at UiB. 

It is an arena for knowledge, reflection and debate about feminist issues in the health care system – a topic that is little talked about in medical school, but which we will encounter in professional life. For example, women's health, gender differences in various fields, skewed distribution in research, gender incongruity, sexual health, and mental health, minority groups' and disabled people's encounter with the healthcare system. We arrange lectures and discussions, but also members' evenings and social events.
