UN Students Bergen
UN Students Bergen is a voluntary student organization for young people that are interested in the United Nations.
UN Students Bergen is a politically independent and student-run organization for those interested in international politics, human rights, and global issues. We work to foster engagement and increase knowledge about the United Nations and international cooperation among students in Bergen.
As a local branch of UN Students Norway, we are part of a national network of students who seek to promote the core values of the UN: peace, sustainable development, human rights, and international solidarity. Our work is grounded in a belief in dialogue, knowledge, and critical reflection as essential tools for understanding and addressing global challenges.
Throughout the semester, we organize lectures, debates, workshops, and social gatherings. We invite professors, diplomats and ambassadors, organizations, and engaged voices to discuss current topics in international politics and global development. At the same time, we strive to create an inclusive and social environment where students can meet, exchange perspectives, and engage in meaningful discussions.
UN Students Bergen is open to all students, regardless of field of study or prior knowledge. With us, you have the opportunity to learn more, engage in important issues, and become part of a community committed to building a more just and sustainable world.
