Framtiden i våre hender

Framtiden I våre hender is a politically and religiously neutral organisation that works for ethically responsible and environmentally friendly consumption. In addition, the organization works for a fair distribution of the Earth's resources. 

The future in our hands believes that consideration of the climate is more important than growth in consumption and the economy. As a member of Framtiden i våre hender Bergen, you can help work on these topics through information work, debates and campaigns, in addition to being able to take part in social activities with the local team. 

FIVH Bergen is the local team of Framtiden i våre hender in Bergen, with approx. 20 active members and over 1,300 support members in Bergen and the surrounding area. Focuses on local environmental issues, while the organization is concerned with global climate issues and a fairer distribution of resources.  

The local team works in many ways and often in collaboration with other organisations, including information dissemination, events, workshops, seminars, stunts, debates and reader posts. The local team is close to the other environmental and non-profit organizations in the area, as well as the students. 

Among other things, we organise a swap party, weekend seminar, we participate in International Week, mark Free Shopping Day, and much more. We also run a small garden in Fjellveien where we grow organic plants and vegetables. We share what is harvested with active members and the town's population.
