IAESTE Bergen

The local committee of the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience.

IAESTE stands for The International Association for The Exchange of Students for Technical Experience and offers technology- and science students at universities study-relevant work experience abroad.

IAESTE is an organization on an international level with 86 countries that works for students, academic institutions, businesses, and other organizations with connecting foreign countries to give and create experiences and collaborations internationally. IAESTE is run by students on a voluntary basis and is a non-political, independent, non-governmental non-profit organization.

IAESTE in Bergen receives technical interns, contacts companies and educational institutions to obtain internships and sends Norwegian students on traineeships across their 86 member countries. The organization also arranges IAESTE|s Business Days at UiB every year and regularly accepts new active members.

IAESTE is open to all students, but only technology - and science students can apply for work experience.
