Medicinsk Blæse- et Spadserensemble

MB&SE was founded on 17 May 1963, and we are therefore the oldest student orchestra in Bergen, and one of the oldest student organizations at UiB. We are open to all students at the faculty and are a place where students can meet across groups and fields of study. 

Every Monday (at 19:57 exactly!) we meet in Liigskiärerstuen, our practice room in the basement of Studenthuset Gade. Here it is pspill a drill; we play music, sing and do other activities. 

MB&SE is both for those who have never played and those who have been in a band before. We have members who have tried an instrument for the first time in their life and some who have played guitar and wanted to start banjo, and some who are super good at the piano and therefore started melodica. With us, you can also play washboards and drums, all of these are important roles that we need to fill. 

MB&SE also has many very traditional events throughout the semester.
