Medisinerforeningen i Bergen

The purpose of Medisinerforeningen is to create well-being and provide a cultural, sporting and social offer for medical students in Bergen. 

Founded in 1946, two years before the university itself, Medisinerforeningen is one of Bergen's oldest student organisations. The association's highest purpose is to create well-being and form the basis for a versatile and good social offer for medical students in Bergen, both in everyday life and through larger events. MiB stands for traditional events such as Blot, the sponsor weeks at the start of the school year, quiz at Overlegen, Christmas workshop at the children's ward and more.  

The association consists of a main board and five sub-boards. Each of the sub-boards covers different offers for the medical students within different areas of interest, while the main board is responsible for the central coordination and administration of the association. MiB is located in the building for biological basic subjects, BBB, at the Faculty of Medicine.
