Norsk Folkehjelp - Solidaritetsungdom

Norsk Folkehjelp is the trade union's humanitarian solidarity organisation. 

Solidaritetsungdommen is Norsk Folkehjelp’s socio-political youth movement. The local team bases its work on the values and principles of Norsk Folkehjelp. 

Solidaritetsungdommen believes that the world is not poor, but unfair. It is therefore a main task for us to work for a fairer distribution of power and resources. The group works to promote international solidarity in Norway, fight racism and discrimination and promote a humane asylum and refugee policy. 

Norsk Folkehjelp is a political organization that is not afraid to take a stand and is known for its clear stand for the rights of the Palestinians, a ban on nuclear weapons and the demand for a decent asylum policy. 

Solidaritetsungdommen in Bergen works to spread information, organise demonstration and educate its members. They are an active and social group.
