Norway's biggest sports festival for students

Studentlekene Bergen Challenge (SLBC) first saw the light of day in 2011. Since then, SLBC has established itself as a solid brand both locally and nationally. Approximately 2,200 participants filled the banquet rooms in Grieghallen in 2018.

From the very beginning in 2011, SLBC has had a twofold focus: Sport and culture in beautiful harmony. Year after year, the organization has built up the experience and the professional framework that should exist around the sports during a SL and the cultural program is expanded both in quality and quantity for each implementation.  

SLBC is mainly organised by approximately 600 volunteer students from the Norwegian School of Economics, and in 2018 we opened to recruit ambassadors at all the major study institutions in the country. It is part of a strategy to achieve our goal of becoming Norway's biggest student sports festival ever. 

The next SLBC will be launched in the autumn of 2022, where the target is more than 2,500 participants from all over the country. We plan to offer great cultural events and new sports to compete in. There will be opportunities to win both the student national championship and to celebrate with old and new friends during the banquet!
