Immaturus student theatre group

The student theater Immaturus is Norway's largest student theater, with various groups dedicated to all kinds of theater activities!

The student theater Immaturus is the only student organisation in Bergen dedicated to theater and performing arts. Our main goal is to facilitate creativity and artistic expression. We provide students in Bergen with the opportunity to develop their skills in a wide range of performing arts-related activities.

Immaturus welcomes everyone, regardless of their experience. We jointly organise weekly events and groups in addition to performances of various sizes.

Among our weekly group offerings, we have improvisational theater, musical theater, a writing group, stage exercises, and Dungeons & Dragons. Every Wednesday at 8:00 PM, we host a variety of events at Det Akademiske Kvarter: Open Stage, Poetry Evening, and Bergen Impro Battle.

Each semester, we stage at least one main production, as well as micro-projects of varying sizes. You will also find information on how to realize your own project in collaboration with Immaturus.

Immaturus is one of the most active student organisations in Bergen, involving over 100 members in theater activities. All our events take place at Det Akademiske Kvarter, which we consider our base and home. The theater is one of five operating organisations at Det Akademiske Kvarter, providing active members with internal benefits as volunteers at Kvarteret.
