Studinekoret Kalliope

The student choir Kalliope consists of around 25 students from all over Bergen's educational institutions.

In Kalliope, we believe that both the social aspect and the musical aspect in the choir are equally important. We arrange several social events in addition to the rehearsals. Each semester we arrange two concerts with a varied repertoire of songs that are based on which songs the muses in the choir wish to sing. We are focused on the joy of singing and unity - and we are part of the large student choir community in Bergen. Students from all of Bergen's School Institutions can join us!

Every semester we have an open practice before admissions. You get the opportunity to experience what it's like to sing with the choir, and what it means to be a muse at Kalliope. After the open practice, we hold entrance exams throughout the week. Information about admission is published on our Facebook page. The entrance test is individual and consists of a musical part and an interview.
