United Methodist Student Movement Bergen

UMSMB is an organisation for fellowship with Jesus and other students.

Study life can be challenging, and UMSMB believes that all students need more than good textbooks and welcome week in a new city. UMSMB was established in the autumn of 2014, and wants to be a community, family and church throughout the entire period of study. The organisation wants to reach out to and include Norwegian and international students in Bergen, for fellowship, sanctification and equipping for Jesus Christ. 

The gatherings for "UMSMB Events" include, among other things, singing praise, church services, meals, house groups and social gatherings. The student group will introduce and include students to the rest of the congregation. In the organisation, you get to use your various qualities. For example, can you play an instrument? Lead a prayer group? Or can share a quiet moment with other students and Jesus? 

UMSMB is affiliated with the Methodist Church in Norway and Bergen, but regardless of whether you are Lutheran, Catholic, Pentecostal or have no connection to any religious community, you are welcome to UMSMB. The motto of the church is:
