Seven mountain hike

The classic 7 Mountains Hike is held every year on the last Sunday in May. Join in and walk 35 km while experiencing amazing nature!

Enjoy beautiful views of the city of Bergen for much of the hike and great company – “the whole city” is out walking on this day!

Participants in the 7 Mountains Hike follow a marked route over the seven city mountains: Lyderhorn, Damsgårdsfjellet, Løvstakken, Ulriken, Fløyen, Rundemanen, and Sandviksfjellet.

It’s a long hike, and you should be in good physical shape to complete it. For those who find the 7 Mountains Hike too long or demanding, the 4 Mountains Hike (20 km) and 3 Mountains Hike (10 km) are two shorter alternatives.

Digital start card

Previously, the price of the start card varied depending on whether you hiked three, four, or seven mountains. This year, that’s changing. You only need to buy one digital start card, which can be used regardless of whether you take part in the 3, 4, or 7 Mountains Hike.
