We have spoken with a group of students and received some feedback on what they expect to find in terms of information from organizations they are interested in. If you have a clear and engaging page, this makes it easy for new students to find you, understand what you do, and most importantly feel motivated to join! Use this template to showcase your organization in the best possible way.

Put the most important things first

• Who can join the organization?
• Is it open to everyone or only to certain institutions/programmes?
• What tasks can members do?
• Do you have different groups working on different activities, such as the photo group, the social group, etc.?
• How does one become a member?
• Are there auditions, applications, etc.?
• How much do you require members to show up?
• Twice a week, every day, occasionally?
• Do you have member benefits? Provide examples.
• Briefly describe who you are. You don't need to include absolutely everything, just the most important work.
• Do you arrange anything social for members? Quizzes, trips, bun evenings?This is something that catches students' attention.

Make the page easier to navigate

• Divide into subheadings and bullet points.
• Write to the student who is completely new and knows nothing about what you do or who you are.
• It is fine to include the history of the organization, but this can be placed at the end of the text.

Profile checklist

• Remember your logo in sufficient resolution (jpg or png).
• Add a photo (not necessary, but nice to have). Remember to ask those in the photo if it is okay to use it.
• Fill in all relevant fields such as updated contact information and add links to any social media channels.
• Avoid using a personal email address. If you absolutely must, remember to update it when that person leaves.
• The language must be in both English and Norwegian if you are open to international students.
